Our House
I promised a while ago to post a picture of our new home here in Augusta. It took me 4 months, so I hope it was worth the wait!
We live in a small neighborhood with a mix of young couples and retired couples/individuals. Our backyard runs right up against a park, which is sketchy at night but a great place for Disc Golf by day!
We’ll probably only be in this particular house for a year, but believe me – this will have been a great year… This is a much-needed step away from apartment living, and we are not taking that for granted!
Also – Augusta in the fall… very nice. Low 80′s and minimal humidity – starts to make up for some of the brutality of the summer heat… some, not all, but some.
One Week from Tomorrow
We are moving south. one week from tomorrow we will be taking up residence in augusta, ga. we have a small house waiting, with a small yard (i could handle smaller). now we just have to pack everything, load everything, drive it south, unload it, unpack it, and find a spot for it.
when i was a kid i used to love moving – i’m not really a kid anymore and the romance of the moving process is losing its appeal.
but on the plus side: a new home town, a new home church, and a new job. it’s gonna be a great summer. keep checking back and track our move!
